Our Story

SCH Technologies was founded in 2000 as a UK-based coating specialist and has developed into a wider coating technology and process support company.

Technical Leadership

SCH Technologies is led by Dr Lee Hitchens, a recognised specialist in conformal coating, Parylene, electronics protection and coating process control.

With more than 35 years of hands-on industry experience, Lee has worked across aerospace, defence, automotive, medical, industrial and electronics manufacturing applications, helping companies improve coating reliability and reduce process risk.

His technical work, training, publications and process-led approach shape SCH’s wider philosophy: reliable coating depends on the complete manufacturing system, not the coating material alone.
