UL Approved acrylic conformal coatings

PC101 UL conformal coating is a fully qualified (UL-94 and UL-746) single part, fast drying, acrylic conformal coating designed to offer the best protection for printed circuit assemblies and electrical equipment. This superior coating is used in all areas of high-end electronics including aerospace, military, and automotive engineering.

PC101 UL

PC101 UL is a UL qualified acrylic conformal coating. This version is normally used for dipping assemblies and can be diluted as required for spraying and brushing. PC101 UL TDS-3

PC101 UL 15 is a preblend of the original coating for robotic spray application. PC101-15 UL TDS-3

PC101 UL 18 is a preblend of the original coating for hand spray application. PC101-18 UL TDS-3

A101 is a high quality acrylic conformal coating. This version is normally used for dipping assemblies and can be diluted as required for spraying and brushing. A101 TDS-3

A101 15 is a preblend of the original coating for robotic spray application. A101-15 TDS-3

A101 18 is a preblend of the original coating for hand spray application. A101-18 TDS-3

Acrylic conformal coatings

Acrylic coatings are a single component, acrylic polymer resins that are solvent based.

This includes environmentally friendly solvent versions of the changing attitudes towards the green world.

Acrylic coatings provide an excellent barrier to moisture and humidity providing the highest level of protection that is possible for liquid applied coatings.

They are symbolized by the letters AR in most international standards.

101C is a California Compliant, solvent-based, fast drying acrylic conformal coating suitable for all types of application. 101C Conformal Coating TDS

The different types of conformal coating and thinners

Acrylics provide an excellent barrier to moisture and humidity since they provide the highest level of protection that is possible for liquid applied coatings.

Polyurethane (Urethane) materials provide excellent humidity but what differentiates them from the acrylic materials is that they also offer much higher chemical resistance.

Conformal coating thinners

When applying conformal coatings it may be necessary to adjust the viscosity of the material before production due to solvent evaporation during the process.

Using our range of thinners makes this process simple since this ensures the production application viscosity is correct.
